You know you’re under to much stress if:
Your inner child wants to be adopted.
Your favorite flavor of ice cream is cherry vanilla Maalox.
You have a nervous twitch that registers on the Richter Scale.
A Conversation between Adam and God:
Adam: Why did you make Eve’s hair so silky and lovely?
God: So you would like her.
Adam: Why did you make her skin so soft and nice to touch?
God: So you would like her.
Adam: But what I really want to know is : Why did you make her so dumb?
God: So she would like you.

Life is too short for everything not to be a blast. You know we are going to be dead for a long time. We’ll have plenty of time to “be still.” While we’re here we need to Live, Live, Live!

When the time is not right,
God Says, “Slow”;
When the request is not right,
God says, “No”;
When you are not right,
God says, “Grow”;
When everything is right,
God says “Go.”

Between the humble and contrite heart and the majesty of Heaven there are no barriers. The only password is prayer.
A Listener’s Prayer
God, Grant me to be silent before you, that I may hear you;
at rest in you- that you may work in me;
open to you- that you may enter;
empty before you- that you may fill me. Let me be still, and know you are God.
Have a Blessed Start to a Great Week! Pray for the country, the troops and the President.

It Is Written:
HONOR YOUR FATHER AND YOUR MOTHER, SO THAT YOU MAY
LIVE LONG IN THE LAND THE LORD YOUR GOD IS GIVING YOU.
( EXODUS 20:12 *NIV )
Today being a day to honor our father’s, we began the message
with the Fifth Commandment. This Commandment is the first one
with a promise attached to it!
So as we enjoy this day with our earthly father, let us not forget
our Heavenly Father as well, for after all: HAVE WE NOT ALL ONE
FATHER? DID HE NOT CREATE US? ( MALACHI 2:10 )
Therefore on this day I would like to share the following poem with
you. A poem dedicated to our Heavenly Father!
Never Alone!
He can calm the troubled waters
When you walk in dark despair.
There is hope when you feel helpless
Knowing that the Lord is there…
Sharing in your sunshine moments
Or in valleys deep and wide,
He is always by your side.
There’s no other friend so faithful
Through the sunshine and rain,
Through the teardrops and the laughter,
In your joy and in your pain.
We could never, ever thank Him
For His love He gives so free,
Never changing…never ending
Throughout all eternity.
Oh, the wonder of all wonders
As we live from day to day,
Knowing that we have a Father
Who is with us all the way.
Poet, Gertrude B. McClain
So to Dad’s everywhere, GRACE AND PEACE TO YOU FROM
GOD OUR FATHER AND THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, on this your
day and throughout the year, and may God Richly Bless You as
well! Amen. ( ROMANS 1:7 )

Dear Blog Readers,
I will submit the following message for you, because once again: HE WILL YET FILL YOUR
MOUTH WITH LAUGHING AND YOUR LIPS WITH REJOICING!
( Job 8:21 *NKJV )
So today we will take a humorous look at some questions &
answers relating to events written in the Bible. Now I received this
message a few weeks ago from one of our email subscribers here at www.godsminute.org. I hope that it will get your day started with a good laugh or two, as It has for me, by just reading the following…..
Q. What do they call pastors in Germany?
A. German Shepherds.
Q. Who was the greatest financier in the Bible?
A. Noah. He was floating his stock while everyone
else was in liquidation.
Q. Who was the greatest female financier in the
Bible?
A. Pharaoh’s daughter. She went down to the bank
of the Nile and drew out a little prophet.
Q. What kind of motor vehicles are in the Bible?
A. Jehovah drove Adam and Eve out of the Garden
in a “Fury”. David’s “Triumph” was heard throughout the

were all in one “Accord.”

A. Samson. He brought the house down.
Q. What excuse did Adam give to his children as
to why they no longer lived in Eden?
A. Your mother ate us out of house and home.

the Bible?
A. David. He rocked Goliath to a very deep sleep.
Q. Which Bible character had no parents?
A. Joshua, son of Nun.
Q. Why didn’t they play cards on the Ark?
A. Because Noah was standing on the deck.
(Groannn…)
KEEP SMILING!!!! GOD LOVES YOU BUNCHES AND
BUNCHES!!!!
Friends are God’s way of taking care of us….
PS… Did you know it’s a sin for a woman to make
coffee?
Yup, it’s in the Bible.
Is it not written?: . . . “Hebrews”

If you have children you may consider sending them to vacation bible school, Most I noticed started next week in my area. Seek and find one that would be suitable for your kids. If your church does not offer one, many Baptist and Church of Christ offer a great outline designed for kids about the Gospel of Jesus. I went to the Church of Christ bible school when I was a kid. It was a great experience! Raise up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it! that is the bible! Encourage you children to seek Jesus at an early age.
Have A Blessed Day! Marketplace meeting is today at 11:15. hope to see you there if your in the Huntsville AL. area. For further info go to archives of this Blog. The meeting is every thursday at Carrabba’s Italian Restaurant. Great Message of ecouragement from Pastor George Sawyer and Pastor Murray Wilton.
