Marketplace Leadership Luncheon (Greater Huntsville)

Greetings!

This is a reminder of your special invitation to the Marketplace Leadership Luncheon (MLL) this Thursday!

This week’s MLL menu from Carrabba’s Italian Grill:
  Creamy Parmesan Salad, Spaghetti with Pomodoro, Zucchini Stefano*

While Carrabba’s is not generally open for lunch, they host our Thursday luncheons with a private Italian buffet that will open at 11:15am each week - cost $12 (includes 20% gratuity) - and with the private use of the facility.

   GOD HAS MADE ME LAUGH, AND ALL WHO HEAR WILL

   Dear John,
       It is said that laughter is the best medicine.  So today
   we shall share a laugh or two, for after all, our Heavenly Father
   has a sense of humor and: HE WHO SITS IN THE HEAVENS
   SHALL LAUGH.  ( PSALM 2:4 )

      So sit back, relax, and enjoy some of the Bloopers actually
   found in Church Bulletins!

       *The outreach committee has enlisted 25 visitors to
        make calls on people who are not afflicted with
        any church.

       *The Ladies Bible Study will be held Thursday
         morning at 10.  All ladies are invited to lunch in the
         Fellowship Hall after the B.S. is done.

       *Evening massage - 6 p.m.

       *The Pastor would appreciate it if the ladies of the
         congregation would lend him their electric girdles for
         the pancake breakfast next Sunday morning.

       *The audience is asked to remain seated until the end
         of the recession.

       *Ushers will eat latecomers

       *For those of you who have children and don’t know it,
         we have a nursery downstairs.

       *The Rev. Meriwether spoke briefly, much to the
         delight of the audience.

       *Due to the Rector’s illness, Wednesday’s healing
         services will be discontinued until further notice.

       *Next Sunday Mrs. Vinson will be soloist for the
         morning service. The pastor will then speak on “It’s a
         Terrible Experience.”

       *Remember in prayer the many who are sick of our
         church and community.

       *Today’s Sermon:  HOW MUCH CAN A MAN DRINK?
         With hymns from a full choir.

       *Potluck supper:  prayer and medication to follow.

       *Don’t let worry kill you off - let the church help.

       *The 2003 Spring Council Retreat will be hell on May 10th
         and 11th.

       *Pastor is on vacation.  Massages can be given to
         church secretary.

       *8 new choir robes are currently needed due to the addition
         of several new members and to the deterioration of some
         older ones.

      *The pastor will preach his farewell message, after which
         the choir will sing, “Break Forth Into Joy.”

       *The third verse of Blessed Assurance will be sung
          without musical accomplishment.

       Now John, I hope that you have enjoyed these as much as
   I did!  Therefore may you have a” joyful” weekend, and may if be
   filled with laughter as well.  After all, it is said, smile and the World

Yesterday that was the words and theme of a drama the youth put on at church. It was great! It was about a teenager that had tried all there was out in the world, and found all she just really needed was Jesus! He left the 99 sheep, and found her! Actually Jesus knows where we are all the time, even when we are not looking for him. We are the ones that really need to find him. People say they found Jesus in there life. He was never Lost, we were. He knew us before we were born. He knew the choices we would make, good or bad. Jesus was in my life really before I knew it, he let me make the choices that ultimately would draw me to him. Through all our bad choices, He can still make up for all that has been Lost. I thank the Lord for leaving the 99 and finding me! or really the opportunity to find him! Where else could I go but to the Lord! Thank you Lord!

Have you found Jesus! As a song says, he was there all the time! Reach out to him while you can! He is very close, you just don’t know it yet!

He left the 99…. and praise God! He found me!

May he touch you with his spirit today! and meet all your needs!

Lord, Speak to all who read this Blog today and in the future! may they be found in you! Join me in praise to the Lord! He Loves you so!
