“Do no fear, only believe.” Mark 5:36
* Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God.*

God lives at the Post Office
This is one of the kindest things I’ve ever experienced. I have no way to know who sent it,
but there is a beautiful soul working in the dead letter office of the US postal service.
Our 14 year old dog, Abbey, died last month. The day after she died, my 4 year old daughter
Meredith was crying and talking about how much she missed Abbey. She asked if we could
write a letter to God so that when Abbey got to heaven, God would recognize her.
I told her that I thought we could so she dictated these words:
Dear God,
Will you please take care of my dog? She died yesterday and is with you
in heaven. I miss her very much. I am happy that you let me have her as
my dog even though she got sick.
I hope you will play with her. She likes to play with balls and to swim.
I am sending a picture of her so when you see her You will know that
she is my dog. I really miss her.Love, Meredith

We put the letter in an envelope with a picture of Abbey and Meredith
and addressed it to God/Heaven. We put our return address on it. Then
Meredith pasted several stamps on the front of the envelope because she
said it would take lots of stamps to get the letter all the way to heaven.
That afternoon she dropped it into the letter box at the post office. A few
days later, she asked if God had gotten the letter yet. I told her that
I thought He had.Yesterday, there was a package wrapped in gold paper on our front porch
addressed, “To Meredith ” in an unfamiliar hand. Meredith opened it.
Inside was a book by Mr. Rogers called “When a Pet Dies”.
Taped to the inside front cover was the letter we had written to God
in its opened envelope. On the opposite page was the picture of
Abbey & Meredith and this note:_____________________________________Dear Meredith,
Abbey arrived safely in heaven.
Having the picture was a big help. I recognized
Abbey right away.Abbey isn’t sick anymore. Her spirit is here with me
just like it stays in your heart. Abbey loved being your dog.
Since we don’t need our bodies in heaven, I don’t have
any pockets to keep your picture in, so I am sending it
back to you in this little book for you to keep and have
something to remember Abbey by.Thank you for the beautiful letter and thank your mother
for helping you write it and sending it to me.
What a wonderful mother you have. I picked her especially for you.I send my blessings every day and remember that I love you very much.
By the way, I’m easy to find, I am wherever there is love.
Love, God
Jesus Loves you! Have a Blessed Day In Christ!

We all face many things in life. Situations are going to come. Trials will happen. People will hurt us and we will hurt people. Yet one thing we must realize is that we can not let people limit us, condemn us, judge us, control us, hold us back or stop us from pressing on.
Christ is our way maker. He knows the beginning from the end, and He has already provided the advocate we needed to redeem us and grant us victory.
We are what the Father says we are. We can do what He says we can do. We have what He says we have. We can be ALL He says we can be. God is going to promote us to NEW and BIGGER things, if we just keep the Faith in Him and His word.
My hope is in the Lord, is yours? If you feel you have lost all hope, then go to the Lord in prayer and allow the Lord to give you back what the devil is trying to steal from you. It isn’t your NOW that the devil is cares about, it is your future in Christ he is trying to snuff out. Remember our “warfare” is not about where we are right now, it is about where we are going. Only one thing remains true…….we know who has already won the fight.
Philippians 4:13 says…I can do ALL things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me.
We are more than conquerors. (Romans 8:37) We are what the Father says we are and He will promote us. Hang on through whatever you are facing. Don’t let go of the saving power of the Lord Jesus Christ. You are almost on top of the mountain. The battle is almost over and victory is already yours.
Be blessed. Stay strong. Fight the good fight of faith.

Christ Has Risen! He Has Risen Indeed!
O death, where is thy sting?
O grave, where is thy victory?
( 1 Corinthians 15:55 *KJV )
Dear Readers,
As you already know, on this the Highest Holy Day
of the Christian year, we celebrate Christ’s Resurrection,
and the promise of forgiveness of our sins, and Eternal
Life for God’s Children! For if we have been
united together in the likeness of His death,
certainly we also shall be in the likeness
of His resurrection.
( Romans 6:5 )
Isn’t it truly Wonderful to know that someday we
will be with God, the Arc Angels, our loved ones,
and all the company of Heaven? For of that day it is
written; God will wipe away every tear
from their eyes; there shall be no more
death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There
shall be no more pain, for the former
things have passed away.
( Revelation 21:4 )
So let us Celebrate Today, and Thank Jesus Christ for
what He did us! After all it is written; For indeed
Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.
Therefore let us keep the feast, Amen.
( 1 Corinthians 5:7-8 )

Thought this was pretty amazing and interesting!
For all the scientists out there, and for all the students who have a hard
time convincing these people regarding the truth of the Bible, here’s
something that shows God’s awesome creation, and that He is still in
control.
Did you know that the space program is busy proving that what has been
called ‘myth’ in the Bible is true?
Mr. Harold Hill, President of the Curtis Engine Company in Baltimore,
Maryland, and a consultant in the space program, relates the following
development.
‘I think one of the most amazing things that God has done for us today
happened recently to our astronauts and space scientists at Green Belt,
Maryland .
They were checking out where the positions of the sun, moon, and planets
would be 100 years and 1,000 years from now. We have to know this so we
won’t send up a satellite and have it bump into something later on in its
orbits.
We have to lay out the orbits in terms of the life of the satellite and
where the planets will be so the whole thing will not bog down.
They ran the computer measurement back and forth over the centuries, and
it came to a halt. The computer stopped and put up a red signal, which
meant that there was something wrong with either the information fed into
it or with the results as compared to the standards.
They called in the service department to check it out, and they said,
‘What’s wrong?’ Well, they found there is a day missing in space in elapsed
time.
They scratched their heads and tore their hair out. There was no answer.
Finally a Christian man on the team said, ‘You know, one time I was in
Sunday School, and they talked about the sun standing still.’ While they
didn’t believe him, they didn’t have an answer either, so they said, ‘Show
us, ‘
He got a Bible and went to the book of Joshua where they found a pretty
ridiculous statement for any one with ‘common sense.’
There they found the Lord saying to Joshua,
‘Fear them not, I have delivered them into thy hand; there shall not a man
of them stand before Thee.’
Joshua was concerned because he was surrounded by the enemy! And if
darkness fell, they would overpower them. So Joshua asked the Lord to make
the sun stand still! That’s right… ‘The sun stood still and the moon
stayed and lasted not to go down about a whole day!’
(Joshua 10:12-13)
The astronauts and scientists said, There is the missing day! They checked
the computers going back into the time it was written and found it was
close but not close enough. The elapsed time that was missing back in
Joshua’s day was 23 hours and 20 minutes. not a whole day.
They read the Bible, and there it was about [approximately] a day. These
little words in the Bible are important, but they were still in trouble
because if you cannot account for 40 minutes, you’ll still be in trouble
1000 years from now.
Forty minutes had to be found because it can be multiplied many times over
in orbits. As the Christian employee thought about it, he remembered
somewhere in the Bible where it said the sun went BACKWARDS.
The scientists told him he was out of his mind, but they got out the Book
and read these words in 2 Kings that told of the following story: Hezekiah,
on his death bed, was visited by the prophet Isaiah who told him that he
was not going to die. Hezekiah asked for a sign as proof. Isaiah said ‘Do
you want the sun to go ahead 10 degrees?’
Hezekiah said, ‘It is nothing for the sun to go ahead 10 degrees, but let
the shadow return backward 10 degrees.’ Isaiah spoke to the Lord, and the
Lord brought the shadow ten degrees BACKWARD! Ten degrees is exactly 40
minutes!’
Twenty-three hours and 20 minutes in Joshua, plus 40 minutes in Second
Kings make the missing day in the universe! Isn’t it amazing?
References: Joshua 10:8 and 12,13 and 2 Kings 20:9-11.
If God could do this then; how much more can he do for us today. If we
only believe in his word.
Never be afraid to try something new.
All I have and all that I am is by the Grace of God!
Have a great day! Easter is on it’s way! check out www.johnlrasmussen.com
